Do I need new fascia if I am just replacing the gutters?
Often yes. Gutters hang from the fascia board, so if the fascia is rotted or soft, new gutters will pull away within a season. During our inspection we check for hidden fascia damage behind the existing gutters and quote whichever scope is actually needed — not a bigger one.
Are seamless gutters worth it vs sectional?
For Florida rainfall, yes. Sectional gutters have a seam every 10 feet and every seam is a future leak. We cut seamless aluminum gutters on-site to the exact length of your roofline — one continuous run per side, no mid-span joints.
Can damaged gutters, soffit, or fascia be part of a roof insurance claim?
When the damage is storm-related, yes — hurricanes, hail, and wind commonly damage roof-edge components alongside the shingle field. We document the entire roof edge with dated photos and include it in the claim scope so nothing gets left off the settlement.
How do I know if my soffit needs replacing?
The four signs are: visible sagging or gaps at the eave, dark staining or water bubbles on the underside, pests entering through the soffit line (birds, wasps, squirrels), and poor attic ventilation showing up as high summer attic temps or ice-damming issues. Any two of those together usually means replacement, not just repair.
Do you offer gutter guards or leaf protection?
Yes — as an optional add-on, not a default. Guards make sense on homes with heavy tree cover; they add cost with less benefit on open Florida coastal lots. We give you the honest recommendation for your specific roofline.
How long does a full gutter, soffit, and fascia job take?
A typical single-story home takes one to two working days once material is on-site. Larger two-story or wraparound homes can run three to four days. We give you a schedule in writing before we start.
